A few details

Project Description

Our partner had a desktop application written for Windows desktop. Our tasks was to turn it to a cloud based web client so they can manage their data in a more modern and better way.

How we solved it

Our approach

First we had to dig into their exisiting system and make ourselfs familiar with it. We went through their desktop client and reported all the functionalities and checked which are the ones we should bring to the cloud based web application.

Frontend with ReactJS

Our task was to build everything from scratch with a modern and easy to use design with the same structure so it will look familiar for them after they switch from the desktop client. We decided to use ReactJS for the frontend as it is fast and structured so it will be easy to support and to add new functionalities in the future.

Backend with JAVA

Besides the frontend our task was to build up the backend from scratch as well. We only had to keep the existing database, connect to it and work from the data there. We decided to build this with JAVA as we thought it is fast, stable and easy to support the system.
